    Just finished Pump tunnel

    Decided to go the old-fashioned way...with carbon fiber, it looks tight and should be right.

    I was going to do the piece but...I might as well save some $$ and do it this way. Besides, this CF is hard as a rock.

    How many layers of CF did u do and what weight of cf did you use.

    it's 1 layer of this cf and 1 thick layer. don't know the weight. it was left overs from another member

    1 layer isn't nearly enough. I'd say a minimum of 3.

    Good for you.

    I was playing with a 5x5 sheet of single layer that I laid up, just a few minutes ago. It still flexes quite a bit. 2nd layer doesn't move hardly at all. It feels like it would break before flexing. 3 should be bulletproof. It's drying now.
