Depth Finder Install
I Have A 2007 Gpr That I Installed A Humminbird Hdr610 In. On The Fuel Injected Models The Right Side Cover Has The On/off Fuel Valve Spot Still In The Mold From The Carburated Models. Using The Hole Saw Size Listed In The Directions Cut This Dead Hole Out And Install The Gauge Here For A Perfect Fit And Easy Reading Running The Hot And Ground Back To The Battery With An On/off Switch In Line. Glue The Puck Directly Below The Driveshaft Just Behind The Coupler. I Get Accurate Readings At Almost Any Speed. Just Another Nifty Gadget To Have. Part#0333-0837 Through Bell Industries. I Used Two Part Plastic Weld Epoxy As The Factory Supplied Glue Didn't Hold After Running Six Foot Rollers!

I Can't Get You Pics Of The Transducer Location At This Time As The Exhaust Blocks The Shot. But As Indicated In My Original Thread I Am Glued To The Hull Directly Under The Drive Shaft Just Behind The Engine Coupler. The Wire Is On The Edge Of The Puck So You Will Beable To Keep The Wire From Contacting The Drive Shaft Locating The Wire At Three Oclock. Also As Indicated In My Original Thread It Does Infact Read At High Speed As Long As The Hull Is In Contact With The Water. Hence The Location Of My Transducer, It Is The Levelist Part Of The Hull And Will Be Just Forward Of The Intake Grate. Make Sure You Have No Air Bubbles In The Glue Between The Ducer And The Hull Or Your Depth Readings Will Be Off. Rotate Puck Back And Forth In A Circular Motion To Help Aleveate This Condition When Pushing It Into The Glue. Make Sure Glue Covers Entire Face Of Puck.
