    Modify Stock Exhaust/Waterbox?

Has anyone ever modified the stock exhaust or waterbox to make it louder? If not does anyone know of any aftermarket kits? The Stock R12x is too quiet, sounds like a vacuum cleaner!

here is an exhaust that we have made.
it also has a mounting position for our wideband o2 sensor.
it did not make the ski too much louder but did give it a different note

What about cutting open the water box and taking out the sound deadening material?

Unless you increase the VE (Volumetric efficiency) or BMEP which is the same as saying "torque per cubic inch" of the motor there is no gain in performance at all.

You will however gain noise which will just add to a bad PWC image in a non-race situation.

With an all out race motor there are gains from decreased EBP (exhaust Back Pressure) but not from a stock motor.

i also agree with whst nitro is saying, this pipe was built for the mounting position for our o2 sensor.
We keep the waterbox in place and did nothing else, the noise level rose slightly.
