Price for a 99 SPX with 60ish hours??
I found a 99 SPX in the paper today with 60 some-odd hours on it. the guy is asking $3600 for it with a trailer. Does this sound like a good deal? He doesnt have any pix of it but it is a river ski (more prone to damage) cause thats the only thing around me. anybody know what a fair price would be? Also there is a 05 RXP with double trailer for just over 9 grand if anyone is intrerested....thanks all!

thats a bit high. unless it i sabsolutely brand new condition, and even then thats a high price.
does it come with trailer??
i might pay 3000 for that ski if it was mint and had a custom trailer, or a few mods.
but stock, with regular trailer or not mint, 2500.
fresh water makes it more valuable, and this ski is not in production anymore, and was the best "fun" ski ever made...
but it is still almost 10 yrs old.
a X-4 fanatic might pay 36000 for it, but i am a X-4 fanatic and i wouldnt pay more than 2500.
i just sold my 97 spx (same ski) last summer for 2200 with a trailer, however it was a salt water unit.

im gonna have to call and ask to see it. it does come with a trailer but for around here its not going to be anything special. there are no modds litsted in the ad so i assume it is stock

$3600 seems a little high, has the hours been verified?? for that much I would save that for something a little better. just my opinion though

hours were not verified but advertised in the ad... the proce does seem high to me too. wonder where hes getting his number from
ok, just called the guy. he bought it in 2000 new. 60 hours are estemated. says "near mint" conditionm one small scratch from the dock but didnt get past the color. winterized every year, garage kept. Bone stock, no mods. Comes with a cover and a tadpole shorlander trailer. oh and the price is $3800 my bad. I think that four grand is way too much for a 9 year old ski. hell five more grand i can have the 05RXP in the paper next to it with the double trailer

It is how much money you have at the casino, link is to the left. You must have played because you have more than 1,000. Oh yeah, way to high btw. Alot of itmes it seems sellers have no idea what their ski is worth since they are really not that active in the sport. Sometimes you find some listings to be cheap, and sometimes you find them listed too high, this is the latter. I find all sorts of stuff on craigslist.
