1050 Paint project Question
Getting ready to paint my 1050. Should I remove the bumper rails or tape over them. How much trouble is it to remove them?

I'd remove them, it'll be easier to buff the paint and no ugly finishing edges.
To remove the bumpers just take off the caps and drill out the rivets.

It's not so easy to find the caps any more for replacement. Try to remove them carefully.

Also, the rails have double face tape holding them on and it's not very easy to get them off...just be careful and take your time.

Thanks, Got the rails off, and the tape. The tape was the hardest part.

Just curious, what color are you painting it?

Was thinking about a general lee, but im leaning more to a blue and silver with a big dallas cowboy star emblem on it.
