upgrade on my skii
what is the next upgrade? i have eveything stock slx780, is the stock piston and .5 over could feel a difference? is it ok putting a 44mm carb? 785 cdi???whats the best next upgrade?

.50mm over I doubt you would feel any diffrance, I would do the 44mm carbs with the pro cdi and upgrade your reeds while you are at it. After that the next big thing you can do is add tripples!!!!! As a set of tripples will really increase the power. But to take advantage of the tripples you realy need the 44mm carbs and reeds. But make sure you get a pro intake manifold so you can put 44's on and get a set of PRO reed cages. As they are made a little diffrent to work with the pro intake manifold. You could find a OP head and raise the compression a little and will notice a differance. I also cut out the rivits on the head gaskets and run only one gasket, as this willl also increase your power. You will need to turn up the screws on the carbs. and run a higher grade of gas.

I noticed a small amout of gain on my 780 SLT by doing the head gasket mod. So far no problems. I have ran it about 50 hours.

so, i can run the skii with only 44mm carbs, pro cdi,reed cages, without the tripples? who has this stuff now??any ideas?

Better throttle response? any higher octane? Can I do this on my 1200?
