    Finally got my ski!

Well.. I know last year I registered w/ intentions of getting an RXP. But I ended up picking up an '05 R6. Fast forward to today and I'm now the proud owner of an '05 RXP. I can't wait to get it on the water this weekend. Even leaving work early tomorrow for some extra time to play.

I'm actually gonna try and force myself to keep to the suggested break-in. Thank goodness there's the learner key so that will at least keep the rpm's down.

Now for a beginner question. Is a BOV a good purchase to begin with? I know it's designed to help w/ supercharger life and all. Soon I plan on getting the Riva Stage 1 kit. Additionally, I plan on taking a closer look at this ride plate mod I've heard so much about. Too bad it's not something that can be re-cut w/ my waterjet at work. Otherwise I'd be the local hoookup for that!

Anyways.. Back to reading for me

    Congrats on the new ski!

Stay away from the BOV and put that money towards gas for riding

Wow..... These things are fun! There isn't even a need to go WOT since it accelerates quite well @ 3/4 throttle. Got it up to 65mph for a second of two. The water was really choppy.. My friend that went w/ me said he saw 69mph on it. I don't believe that. <- not yet anyways w/ only 2 hours on the clock.

Next week I'm gonna run against his 25' Baja - e thinks he can take me. I told him he'd have to catch me first. heh heh heh.

Be careful there Saladbar. Those speedos aren't that accurate! That Baja might give you some trouble depending on the motors!

It's a single motor 502. Runs good... But we just weighed it down w/ 5k watts of stereo equipment in the spring . That slowed it down a bit.
