Fiberglass / SMC hull question
I am looking for input on a hull question on the S-D side ... the thread is: http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthre...t=38334&page=3
I am wondering if the inner and outer hull is connected or supported under the gas tank on the GPR (or other skis). Anybody cut up inner liners of hulls, or have input on supporting gas tanks, etc?

The gpr inner liner is glued to the lower part of the hull. There's lots of pics in the conversion section. As far as the tank, the inner liner has basically stringers that tha tank sits on. The V would be too sharp otherwise, and you wouldn't want that much load on a part of the hull that's not braced. Look close in the second pic and you can see the green glue. Yes the stringers are hallow. No foam, but they are at least .250" thick.

Got it, thanks for the pics and reply! I had two GPRs but never cut one up ...
