Smile Help me get the gear there...

When we take the jet skis out we need some way to get the tow toys, extra fuel and other neat stuff we need for the day.

Most of the time it involves backpacks and bolt on racks that cut down room for passengers.

Has anyone got a good idea to get gear from one point to another that doesn't involve having a boat tag along?

    First Welcome to the forum.

Also depending on the ski you have, I can fit a tube, couple more PFDs, in the front comparment of my RXT.

Thank you for the warm welcome.

We do use every bit of space we can find but still end up having to leave gear behind, especially when theres a bunch of us and we have a big day or weekend planned.

    Any other ideas???

Would something like this Hydro-Trailer help?

There was a thread in the Polaris forums regarding some ski conversions to create water towable storage/barge.

Welcome to the Green Hulk Forums!!

I have see people use an old jetski hull as a towable. There is a good bit of room in one with the engine and tanks removed.

Another neat trick I have heard of is to run the tow rope through a couple of swimmers noodles. This will keep the rope from possibly being injested by your pump and help keep the towable from running into the back of your ski.

Let us know what you find.

Thumbs up Hey Thanks, this is really useful advice!

Does anyone sell those barges? I checked the website but they dont have sales links. I guess the biggest problem with towing a jetski hull is how do you get it to the water if you already have your ski towed behind the car?
Someone suggested towing a dingy but a friend of mine lost everything when it got swamped by a passing boats wash.

    Please keep the ideas coming...
