OEM or Pro-X both are good choices

OEM first and Pro-X second. Pro-X is far more reasonably priced.

OEM pistons shrank on my GPR, so when it came time for new one's I went with the Pro-x.

How much? Pretty sure all the skirts collapse to a point.

Aubrey's Lowell ported 1300 had 12-15 thous. clearence on his Pro-X after 150 hrs. My 1200 with OEMs had 10 after almost 300.

To tell you the truth I dont remember the exact clearance but when I sent the pistons and cylinders to Lowell he informed me I needed new pistons due to the clearance.
I guess it is common for the 05 and current gpr pistons to shrink. I believe it has to due with the coating Yamaha uses on those pistons.

THROW THE CYLINDERS IN THE DRIER FOR A SHRINK TO FIT, ADD A DRIER SHEET FOR A NICE EXHAUST SMELL TO ATTRACT THE LADIES!!
