    Rossier 800 carb specs

Putting the HX-800 back together to sell and was wondering if anyone had tips on OEM carb jetting. Ski had RedTops before so I'm shooting in the dark.

    -785 (rec port)
    -170 psi
    -Rossier pipe
    -OEM carbs with Proks
    -95 HX waterbox (dry)

    Thanks,
    Duke

Bill doesn't know this setup, he hates Rossier pipes.

    Pipe tuning-
100 jet under the elbow at midpipe.
    Jetworks Flow Valve on stinger.
    185 jet in stinger.
    Remove WRV and plug watertbox.

    Carbs-
    77.5 pilots
    155 mains
    2.0 n&s
    80 gram springs

Run a Solas XO with 85/88 nozzles.

Port your exhaust manifold and pipe for increased max rpm.
Port match your gaskets when assemblying too.

MSD 4255 Enhancer is a must also, for proper timing curve and rev limiter.
MSD water injection is highly recommended too.

My X-4 turns 7550 @ 67.1 mph. New ceramic coated pistons and rings coming soon...shooting for 68-69 on pump gas.

    Hey Dan...what Flame arrestors?

I think Rossier recommended 75 pilots and 142.5 mains? Pop-off will depend on what kind of flame arrestors.

Definitely do the flow valve to keep the waterbox dry. With no increase in compression it will fall flat on it's face out of the hole, if the waterbox has water in it. Bumping the timing helps dramatically too.
