    help with cleaning out hull...

Okay, I am trying to clean out the back of the hull to do the tunnel reinforcement but I am having trouble. As usual. I got the big rubberized tube off but can't figure out what I should do to get the rest of the stuff out(water box...etc..). Any help would be great. I checked riva but they don't have the directions on there anymore. I tried to figure out how to load the pic from the service manual but I am somewhat of a mental midget in that area. Thanks for any help.

I remove the stinger, then slide the waterbox back out of the midwall and remove it.

Rich, I understand that part, I think. What I am having trouble with is the parts that go to the right side of the hull. They don't seem to pull out too easily. There must be something I need to undo. Thanks for any help.

Remove the big foam block (its a bitch). I unbolt the exhaust flange from under the ski and remove it with the black elbow attached. Also I unstrap the bilge pump and set it aside (hose still attached)

Rich is correct, the foam is the biggest pain while trying to do this mod being you have to get it at the exact angle before it will come out..

Finally got it out and everything taken apart. Ready to start cleaning up the area to put in the reinforcement. Rich, I can just loosen the cables(trim...etc..) from inside the hull in the back by twisting the big white nuts and pull them through a little to clear up some room? I think that's how I understand it. Thanks for any help.

    Yes.

On reassembly, gob some 5200 around the cable threads to seal them to the rear deck.
