Time to pre order the JD 1 pump extension kits
For those that voted "YES" in the poll please go to the online store to place your pre order.
I will take pre orders until March 10th and then i will order all the components of the kit.
If you think you will want one of these kits please pre order before the March 10th deadline.
I had to order a minimum quantity of 10 of each component to get the prices where they are right now so I will only order the amount of kits that are pre ordered.
If anyone orders after the pre order deadline you will be placed on a waiting list until i get 10 more orders at which time i will get all the components made up.
For those that pre order. I will bill your card 50% of the order amount on March 10th and then bill you for the remaining amount once i have your kit in stock and ready to ship. This should be 4 weeks after March 10th.
The pump extension kit sets the pump back which improves top speed and also provides an improvement in hookup through chop.
This kit consists of
- Longer driveshaft. Made out of the same stainless as stock but it will be heat treated and nitride coated.
- Longer than stock stainless steel wear ring. The end of the wear ring will have a groove machined into it to duplicate the end of the pump so that the rubber seal can attach.
- Two piece billet spacer that will clamp down over the elongated wear ring and fill in the void between the pump and pump shoe. Water passages for inlet and bailers are functional
- Cable extensions for reverse bucket and steering. RXP kits will include an elongated VTS rod.
- Longer pump bolts

Will it be at all possible to run a wedge. If not why? Meaning just longer bolts?

Does this unit work with the RXPX? I did not see anything on that.

Jerry in another post you wrote that with this pump setup it would be easier to fix overstuffing. Is this still true with the final product?

I know you are just now trying to get an RXP/RXT kit built, but will there be a RXPX kit in the works some time soon?

What is different between the RXP and the X besides the longer intake?
