Gas Prices Affecting Your Riding Season

With gas very likely to be above $4/gal soon, how much will this affect your upcoming riding season? And most of us use Premium which here is $.25 more than regular.

For me I'll probably not be going out as much as before, and when I do more relaxing and stay closer to home. Probably more wakeboarding too, as it doesn't use much gas

Its a huge concern for me, im just going to enjoy my ski as much as i can until the point where fuel is so exspensive i will have to sell the ski.. Here in Peth we are paying at present 1.50 A Litre..When it hits 1.80 1.90 in time i will have to quit the sport.... Which pisses me off cause im quite new to the sport, and have a heap of fun building and riding my ski... Oh well its been alot of fun, like they say good things come to an end in time..

To offset the increase in gas, I am now taking the Train to work. ITs $2.50 a day for me! I work 26 miles from home, takes me an hour drive time, and ~ $60 a week in gas.
taking the train now costs me 12.50, I fill up once a week, only $20.00. So, 32.50 a week, saving ~ 30 bucks. Thats what I'm doing to offset the cost somewhat. Train is cool, I get 30 minutes of sleep, so now I can stay on GH later during the nite, and offset my sleep on the train. I love it when a plan comes together.

and thats adds up... per year thats a little over $1,500 and with gas prices rising, that number will grow.

then you can take that money and mod and you won't feel as bad about it

welcome to our world. Gas prices in Canada have been well over $5 per gallon for crappy stuff and upwards of $6 a gallon for good stuff for the longest time (ie years).they keep tellin us there gonna go down ,but does anything ever go down once its been up? anyway,we just bought our first house ......so now the ol lady is tellin me that i only get so much per pay for fun money and that includes my money for gas in my vehicles- land and water. so i said ,...drivin to work is supposed to be fun now??!yer away from me and the kids she said, isnt that fun enough?!...she has definitley got me there!!!
    Rant over.......
