    Spark Plug Reading

    Found this on another forum. i know some of you guys love reading your plugs. this pic can keep any plug junkie busy for years tuning their pwc.

    Was reading some plugs today. Not easy. I noticed if I leaned the mixture the plugs got blacker-not sooty, but grayish/black. Not an exact science-for sure. Just went by RPM and seat of the pants.

    I still have better luck with piston wash and RPM.
