I just brought them to the local body shop and had them paint it black. I have no idea what brand or what color code they used. When i got them back they were glossy black and look great.

you could do it your self pretty easily, there just plastic. You could try it see how it comes out before takin it to a body shop. Just use a fine sand paper first so the paint will stick better. Then get some automotive paint from a autoparts store in the cans should be easy to do! I want to do this as well, to get rid of the chrome. I also like that carbon fiber paint look that jerry has on his web page.

Yeah...I've got time...I've got free.....wait..I got free time! I only work during the day, so I've got plenty of free time.

I also make vinyl signs, vehicle lettering and graphics.

I have Apple Green wich is kinda close to the SeaDoo green used, I also have Mirror (Shiny Silver). THats whats on the RXT on the left.

Mine is just 2 1/8th inch outlines, white and black, the center is actually the hull.

The police cars had existing designs I had to work with and limited budgets, so thats why there isn't much color. Watchung, NJ is getting 3 Dodge Chargers, and I'm in concept with designs on those. Since the chargers come 80% equipted with strobes and electronics, they are giving me more money to make the car designs better, more colors, more reflective, bigger graphics.

Im in the beginning stages of painting up my stand up. Just today i finished gettin the decals off it and gave it a quick sanding. I will take a bunch of pics of the process. Im not very good with paint, and frankly i might do a rattle can job w/some clear coat, but the prep im going to try to get down pat. Ill keep a lil blog and post when im done.
