    Green wheel with Riva ECU?

To fill the void(while saving for a turbo) this summer I was wondering if it was possible to run the greenwheel with the Riva Race ECU? would you still need the 50's? or maybe 42's with a RRFPR? just trying to plan out my mods for the rest of the year.

The green wheel would work great with the Riva ECU.

You must use the 50# injectors with the Riva ECU no matter what. That is what the ECU is mapped to run.

Would I need the RRFPR(its coming in the future anyway)?

I would be running a Rotax Racing IC(unless anyone wants to trade straight up for a Riva) and 4" custom intake(In know these are small mods but I like covering my bases when learning)

No, you only need the RRFPR once you exceed the fueling capabilities of the ECU and 50# injectors.

Two instances of this would be running a C kit or a turbo kit. Then you would want to run the RRFPR

Darth, just FYI, but I switched from a stock ECU and 42's to a Riva ECU and 50's both at 10 psi boost and saw a very small performance increase. The difference is that you can run the Riva ECU up to around 14 psi boost, whereas the stocker max's out on fuel around 10 psi.

Thanks Mike, I already have the Riva ECU(one of my steps toward a turbo) I was wondering if I could get some use out of it while I was saving up.

    Darth,

When I was running a stage 2+ setup last year (external intercooler, Green wheel, 42lb. Injectors, 15/20r prop, ect...) I ran 77+ mph pretty consistently. After adding the Riva ECU, 50lb. inj. and Riva Valve train upgrade I gained a good 300+ rpm and over 3mph, which resulted in running consistently in the 81+mph in 70 to 80 degree weather, and lower 80mph in 90+ hot humid weather. So in my opinion, donít be surprised if you are hitting 80+mph with that setup if your ski is healthy, you are hitting 8500 rpm, and most of all... you are meticulous when sitting up your ski.

Sorry... forgot you had a GTX and not an RXP. Either way, itís a good setup and you should be running pretty quick.

Matt, you were probably on the limiter with the previous setup.

I was running 77.5 mph at 10 psi boost at 8100 rpm. I swapped to the Riva ECU and 50# injectors and it picked up about 50 rpm and less than .5 mph.
