Who do you insure with?
Hey guys I'm just wondering who you guys insure your ski's with and what extra stuff I should look into so I can get a discount (ie good student, safety certification, etc).

I'm 50, and it's only $174/ yr FULL coverage. (One of the few advantages to getting older!). Insurance is very age biased.

If you're a member of AAA, give them a call. Even if you're not a member and have to join, their rates will probably be lower than the others. I've insured my ski and another boat with them for years, and their rates are very good.

Youll probably olny get a student discount if your getting over a 3.0GPA. I know this applies to car insurance not sure about watercraft insurance.

Also, if your GPA is above a 3.0 you should get a decent size discount.
Im insured with Allstate. They recentley gave me a huge rate decrease because my record was clean of tickets and have had no accidents untill i turned 21 and still going clean so far (knock on wood).

I know I am getting screwed on the policy for my RXP, I have it with the same place as my truck and home. I do not have any tickets or accidents on my record and still costs too much.
