    SS wear ring or RR mount

    Which one ?

    I think the SS wear ring is a band aid fix to the root of the problem. I could see the SS wear ring causing a lot of prop damage should the pump ingest some sand/gravel. If the RR engine mount really fixes the problem, then I would rather do that.

    Thought/opinions please.

    I was thinking of just doing both. If a 3 blade ever pans out to be better than a solas 4 blade I was going to do the triple mod.

    I would ... but I can't have 2 money pits. I don't think my wife would go for that. I just want it to be reliable and trouble free.

    If you had to do only one right now do the front engine mount. Then later do the ss wear ring.

    Looks like the skat triple bearing mod sucks !!

    Doesn`t look to be hard at all. I`m orderring one myself. From the price it seems billet aluminum is trading very high on the commodoties market.

    Its about a 15 minute job to replace. You need a way to support (slightly lift) the front of the engine.
