    Suggestions on water shoes

Looking for a good pair of water shoes, having a tough time finding anything local (South Florida). Hoping I don't have to spend more than $50-60. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

I have had a hard time over the years getting a good pair.
Last year, My wife got me those Adidas water shoes that tie and
look similar to a regular tennis shoe..
They have great drain holes, etc and great support just like a reg. shoe
but the problem I had, was that the drain holes in the soles were big
enough that sand & dirt will come UP thru if walking on a beach..
If you dont' need to do that, they are really the best I've used
for support and keeping my size 12's safe from crap.
I think they were about $100 or so.

    I've got some Teva watershoes

They stretch over (no laces or velcro or anything...) and are actually very supportive and have a good, non-marking set of treads on them...

    look on ebay "water shoes"
salomon teva merrell adidas , lots to choose, order two pair, one size you think is you, and one a size smaller. i guarantee you can give a buddy the size that doesnt fit you , or find someone here who will pay what you did for them...

We found that most of the surfing and powersports apparel to be sub standard for hardcore jetskiers... we've opted to buy a lot of gear from "water rescue" suppliers to the fire department etc. They have all kinds of websites... just google 'swift water rescue equipement" or some variations there off.

You'll find they have some cool gear, lifejackets the special rings and pockets, their water shoes are bit sturdier on the soles, good for climbing around the launch ramps and trailers without getting hurt if you step on something sharp.

    Here is a sample...
