    Best way to keep supercharger cool

    Whats the best way to keep the SC cool? Since heat is the biggest enemy of the SC. Any secrets!!!! Other then not hammerin on it for all you smart asses out there

    I wrapped the output of the ic to the throttle body with thick foam to keep it as cool as I could but nothing to the sc itself.

    if you are running aluminum piping then you are losing the benefit of heat loss.

    i use an attwood fan to suck hot air out the engine compartment it works alright no big difrence though.

    i had a local machine shop fab up soem water jacketed ic tubing, spent a ton on it and it made no difference at all!! the air is moving too fast through it to matter. it started out as a good idea

    Rotax racing sells a water cooled supercharger housing to lower the temps at the supercharger. Go to (perryperformance.com) you will find it there.

    The best way to keep a stock mounted S/C(Stock, Riva, Rude, Pirhanna) cool is to keep your oil flowing freely, change it regularly, and use the mineral based XP-S and change those ceramic washers
