about 2 weeks from starting the upgrades to my 99 xl1200 ltd... going to add a modified rideplate, intake grate, pump plug kit, Solas 13/19 pitched to 11/18, d-plate and chip... is there anything else that i should consider that wont keep it down too long... i am planning on shaving the head in the fall... also has anyone installed the holeshot kit on a XL LTD or XLT? thinking of adding that to the list...

A Jetworks works great on a XLL/XLT! It really helps to get that big hull moving. Depending on what you want your ski for you could get one of Jims XLT handling packages. It gives lift almost equal to a GPR but it isn't for everyone because there are some real drawbacks.
