why on earth would you push your ski to 8600 RPM's with the stock valvetrain?

this is what i love about his forum everyone always likes to assum what really happened.

Now first of all I can only run it at 8400 with a 15/20 and second when I was catching mitch down the back straight I balled it thru a big ass wave and it went to 8600 rpms real fast. I already have a new valve train on its way and a new cam gear , retainers and washers. Now i should be ok to run 8600 rpms. but i want to drop it back to around 8300 by tweeking the prop and the nozzle size. I want to thank mark for everything and hope to see my parts asap.

What do you expect us to assume. Read your subject heading!

dont get me wrong I love this forum. Lots of info on here. Its just for some reason everyone wants to assum what really happened. I guess alot of people just want to be faster than the next guy. I have no problem being slower than the other cuz in Supercourse I know I will track you down and pass you. Hints maybe this is why I have the national points lead in Pro Runabout Open. Now dont get me wrong I know that I have never been to TEXAS WHERE THINGS ARE BIGGER AND FASTER. I also wish those guys the best of luck this year and Being the only real promoter of supercourse on the east coast, is hard to do and race. We are a going to be bringing a fast group out there this year and hope to have lots of fun meeting new racers with the same interest as us. As for everyone on the board I hope you guys can come out to wathc some real fast racing.

You dont get it do you?

Its not that everyone wants to assume things. Its that you "elude" to things that makes us assume upon the information given us. Just like the topic of this thread you started. Just like your old signature saying you basically had no mod's but were running 77 mph.

We just go off what information you provided. WTF do you expect?
