    Nice motor but a little off on the top end speed...there's no way that engine will get you 80+ mph. Not even if it had triples would it get ya even close to that...maybe close to 70 mph...and yes I said TRIPPLES!

    What's the story on the exhust log? I never knew HSP modified any of these.

    What seems to be the hang on Polaris speed? I know that there are ultra 150's doing 71+ on a single pipe, but it seems that it takes tripples to do that on a Polaris.

    Hull design (length, chines, pad area etc.), weight, how it sits in the water, sponsons, the list is probably pretty long but I think it comes down to wetted surface area at speed and how much HP it takes to get and keep the nose out of the water and on the back pad.
