help me get my ski boosting properly
i have a b kit on my rxp that doesnt boost pass 11lbs and need you guys to let me know what i can do to get it up into the 13 + mark. i didnt have my boost gauge installed when i initially installed the kit so im not sure if it ever boosted what it was supposed to. i was experienceing a loss in rpms so i installed the gauge and shimmed my supercharger and was able to get consistency from it again but not the right amount of boost, it peaks at 11lbs at around 8500 rpms.my ski runs as it is right now 80.3 on 11lbs of boost 8500 rpms on a 3 blade 15/20 untouched with an 81 mm ring.it runs well and nothing is broken on it but i know that i can get some more out of it through the supercharger. i just need to know where to start to get it running at its peak. any and all input is welcome, im not trying to push anything to the limit ive just spent so much time and money on the ski and want it to run properly. by the way im also running a 4 inch intake

I would think that you should definitely be getting more that 11psi @ 8500 RPM. Are you 100% sure you do not have any boost leaks? My .02.

You should be running a 4 blade bro....As far as the boost issues....Maybe you have a leak....Have you checked for this?

What type of boost gauge are you using?...Where is your boost gauge line connected in your engine?...Remember that b-kits superchargers boost 13-14psi but boost is measured at supercharger not intake manifold...

I think Bigbuck had the same problem with his C-kit, the slip-moment of the SC clutch needed to be properly adjusted it was slipping at too low of a torque.

Leak, Leak! NO way you should have 11 psi.

You should have more boost. With cool temps i was running 10.8 lbs of boost with stock ecu (8,100 rpm) and S3 at 2,900 ft. I know nothing about the b kit but seems low to me, especially at 8,550rpm.

You should also check your metal washers for wear and supercharger gear face, over time they wear out from the abuse of hard riding and supercharger start slipping at high RPMs not reaching peak boost levels making you think that you have a leak somewhere when you dont...(just giving you something to check for... )

How about you send that B-kit my way and I can check it on my ski.
I would say washers are slipping or you have leak somewhere.

i have a digital dynotune gauge. so your saying that its not supposed to read 13 lbs + , since its on the block off plate on the manifold its supposed to be lower?
