    Genesis taking on water..hlp!

Beleive its an 04 Genesis 4 seater.Hey guys im trying to help my uncle out with figuring out why its taking on water in the floating position. When he has it anchored it takes on water. Anyone else had this issue? so far I retightened sponsons, one seemed a little loose, used a hose to apply water where the drive shaft goes through the hull, greased shaft coupling, checked bilge hoses, and checked exhaust hoses.
pLease let me know what you think..Thanks
    JIM

Check the thru hull coupler were the drive shaft pass thru the hull. Pirates had loosened up. The one the rubber hose clamps onto.

Probably the thru-hull fitting like Keddano stated. You can always put water in the hull and then start looking for the exact location of the water leak.

The clamps are tight ...added grease too. maybe grease was low?! Guess the only way to find leak is to throw in a tank or lake and look for a leak. Thanks for the help.

We're taking about the whole fitting that goes thru the hull,On the inside,in has a big nut that holds it tight.Grab ahold back by the hull and see if it will turn. There is a O-RING there too.
Bad picture but it would be 12,13,14

I've seen that before, just started it up and the water would start gushing out of the hull. The only reason I like to add water to the hull is just in case there is more than one leak.
