    Gps????????????

I did a search on GPS to try and find a thread that would answer my question. No go.

Can anybody direct me to the best GPS system for my ski for the money? Don't want to spend a fortune but I don't want a cheapo either....

Jerry-if you see this...what kind do you use?

+1, I have been using GPS for maping out fields and areas for many years. The Etrex legend is the only way to go. It is the simpliest, cheapest, and very accurate. I use this same GPS on my pwc and there are many different options on ways to mount to anything. I have mounts for both my pwc and ATV,s.
You will not be diappointed with the Etrex Legend like pictured above and not to expensive. Hands down the best bang for the buck and I have put them thru alot of abuse on the atv with my job and have had no problems. If you use the high dollar batteries they will last for a good amount of time. I have 3 of the one pictured above for 5 years now and no problems.

I have a little garmin geko 201 I bought for like 60 on ebay. I just use it for getting speed numbers. It's very small and I just stick it to the glove box lid with velcro. It's got other features like waypoints and all that, but I don't need any of that out on the lake.

I use the Foretrex and it seems to work fine. You can wear it on your wrist and gives you current speed and fastest speed. Works for me.

I like the Garmin 70 series for jet skiing because they're waterproof and they float.
