I've always wonders how fast these "fun" machines (XPL and HX) were when set up to race. I've asked this before about 787 conversion HX's and never got an answer. Would you mind sharing what the top speed is?

it's a legitimate 70+mph boat and gets there in a hurry. race boats are really not going to be set-up for top speed although it is a by product of the way they are built. race boats are st-up for acceleration to the first turn and that buoy to buoy punch in between turns.

I know of an xpl with a very similar setup but he's not a racer. he's getting low to mid 74's all day with it & i'm sure he can get more out of it but not much.

The top end set up for CC is 74.6. set up for all out Radar speed is 75.8 had times it did 76.4. This XPL handling and acceleration and hookup is beyond people's comprehension until you ride it. You can drive this boat through any pump wash. The 4 mm with the single pipe is a really fast set up and that is all you would really need. With the 8 mm it is just unbelievable sick and a lot of boat to handle after half way through race. Just give me a call today and we can talk about different options that I can sell the boat with. With the different setups the price of this boat can range from $10,000 to $14,000. This boat is set up very well and very easy to work on.

I ride an RXP now because of the raw power, reliability, and ease of use. However, my heart still lies with boats like these since I got my start on a Factory Pipe'd HX. These nimble and small ski's are 10x more fun than the couches that are sold these days. Bad ass boat and good luck with the sale.

What is Dustin going to race this year? or is he?

I know that this boat is the real deal and VERY fast, so whoever gets it is getting a great boat.
