    Loooking at Several Skis...

    Looking to purchase a ski...
Im am narrowed down to the Yamaha 08FX SHO, 07-08FX HO or SEADOO 08 RXT-X,07 RXT...
Found the Yamahas reasonable in price and the SEADOO 07 RXT for 9600...

Whats some pros and cons between some of these skis?

    Fuel economy difference?
    handling?
    top speed?
    accelleration?
    trim or no trim?
Upkeeping ease(close loop or open loop durability or oil chaning)
    Difference in superchargers?

For the price I'd go with the 07 RXT. It will go 66-67 stock and be a very fun ride, plus it's a great looking ski. Add $2000 in mods & you will be glad you picked this ski.

What should i expect out of the RXT on reliability cause i hear some talk, especially from my friend that sold jetskis dont get a SEADOO cause there not reliable, but the website they should run 10 years under normal use...

What is the Pros and Cons of the RXP and RXT?
Also my friend told me that chaning the oil is arder on the SEADOO that it has to be changed in S/C and motor cause of closed loop cooling system...

    RXT-X for sure!!
    Good fuel economy
    Terrific handling
    Good top speed
    Great acceleration
    Trim added for 08
Close loop, change oil every 50 hours
New rebuilt, reliable with metal washers and larger SC than other years.
    Great choice!!

Not only does your friend not know what is is talking about--would bet he cant even spell Sea-Doo. I have a 2004 RXP
which I bought new--goes over 80 MPH---and has no issues what so ever.

The asskole must be mistaken and telling about the 250X. GIO,sparkplugs,gelcoat,5-7 gals of fuel in the tank you can't burn, poor poor milage, etc.

S-D: ceramic washers after 80 hours Possible delam. after 100 hours. Hell, most of them don't have 100 hours and have major problems. You can buy 250X's cheap used right now 1 year old? Idiot
