    Trim importance?

Should i be really concerned about having electric trim on a 3 seater?
Mainly going to be riding solo, sometimes to and may never ski behind...
Looking at the 07 or 08 RXT and maybe 08 RXT-X

    Why?
Also how long have you had your RXT?
I have read on a few forums that the RXT-X will give you some more take off,VTS,and 5-8 mph on top end... Doesnt seem worth going from 9600 on a 07RXT to almost 3600 roughly for a 08 RXT-X...

    The 08 RXT-X is a reveloutionary ski...It's an 07 with a Stage 3 kit on it stock!!
If you want a 3 seater you want the 08 RXT-X. I got my 07 RXT and put $3500 in it and I can just keep up with the 08 RXT-X's.

it depends on how much you want to go faster and how much accleration you want.... the RXT will satisfy you but the rxt-x will blow your mind away...

everything comes with a price.... it basically depends on how much you're will to spit up.

So what makes the RXT-X that much faster...The dealers told me like 5-8mph faster than the RXT on top end? Should i be concerned that the RXT doesnt have VTS?Als what about a FX SHO vs RXT-X?nd the RXP-X vs RXT-X mainly difference in the "P" vs "T" series?

new rxtx has several big improvements over an 07 rxt or an 08 rxt.
better SC design, older sc's were prone to washer failure and cost alot to fix when they break. alot of people around this site have opted to upgrade the older SC washers to metal ones. on the 08's the matal washers are already in there. thats both RXT and RXTX
the X has high performance parts from the factory that push it up to 255 HP, that is several thousand in aftermarket stuff to bolt onto a 07RXT. or 08RXT.
the stock X will outperform a stock 07 0r 08 RXT significantly on acceleration. and with an afternoon of basic mods, you can easily unleash another few mph that seadoo had to restrain in the stock X ski.
RXTX has a finger throttle, alot more comfortable for riding.
if it were me and i was in the market for a "new" ski ( i always buy used skis, like 3-4 yrs old) i would buy at least the 08 RXT and most likely the RXTX.
but i will wait 3-4 yrs and buy it used when it has lost 50% of the price
