Those are adapters to change your bar size from 7/8 to 1 and 1/8. If your planning on using your stock trim 1 and 1/8 is too big... Those are not the risers your looking for..... I only know this because I bought a set and there hanging on my work bench because there useless on a ski....

are you serious I cant use 1 1/8 bars with the stock setup other than adding clamps??? What would I need to make them work. I have an extra set of pro taper contour bars I want to use.

In order to fit the stock trim set up on 7/8 bars you need to grind the bars a little... The trim assembly is a plastic tube that slides over the bars.... You cant possibly grind enough of 1 1/8 bars to make it fit... or the start box, or the throttle for that matter...

I dont think using the 1 1/8 bars is a problem They are 1 1/8 in the middle and then taper down to the outside of the grips. When you buy motorcycle grips they dont ask what size bar.
For the clamps they will work but you need to machine down the nubs on the bottom so it will fit flat on the bottom of the steering column.
All that said 7/8 bars are way easier - you just use the OEM mounts (paint or polish them). Some say the bar pad looks better anyway.
