Yea, that was a nice suprise this afternoon. It's what happens when you don't turn quick enough and smack a rock jetti in the river at 60+
It was hidden about 6" below the water line. We knew it was there but I couldn't catch Joe quick enough to get his attention as he was zoning out.

Anyone know a good boat guy for hull repairs??

i would need to see it in person... but with an airpowered long board sander, some glass, a little filler and resin, we can have that thing brand spanking new

Dan, That would be greatly appreciated. Give me a ring on the cell later in the week or shoot me an email when you have time and we'll see what's up.
The decision on what to do with it is entirely up to Joe. I know he's pretty disgusted with it and neither one of us has any idea how to do a repair and make it last....
I know he was going to hit a local boat shop in Delaware because we don't know anyone that does this type of work... I think he just wants someone to do it so it doesn't fall apart, which is why you don't see me mixing any glass in the pictures...

resin is fun if you take your time and follow directions... the good part is the repair is in a location that is relatively easier to repair and does not have any complex and compound curves to have to sand
