    Got my pump today!

    Well after all of ths hit that I went through...

    4 weeks and over 1200 dollars later I have my new pump, SS Wear ring, Triple bearing , Billet tail and nose cone, and all of the neccassarys...

    My only question is....The pump I got wasnt black but a bare metal color...whats up with that?

    But anyway I am happier then shit right now and cant wait to get her out to the lake early tommarow morning! YAY!

    Yeah right I have a tracer out for the thing...it was USPS who lost it...never gona use them agian to ship anything...

    But I get my money order and postage back which totals about 350...doesnt even make a dent in what I had to put out today!

    OO...and hopefully Glen put the pump seal on the pump right because I was so damn excited to finally get it...I just threw the thing on without checking the seal...

    Used blue loctite on all of the hardware...

    Tommarow I will get some numbers! Got a top speed of 67.6 GPS going with the wind and current....Hopefully I will be right in that area with the new prop Glen made me!

    This pump looks to be a very solid peice! Props to Glen as far as it looks tommarow we will see how she holds up!

    Will do Jeff...Did that new pump seal work out for ya??

    By the way...did you just put it on straight from skat trak (the seal I mean) like did Glen already have it on there for you or did you remove it before shipping your pump to him? Let me know....


    By the way what are some characteristics of catavation?? Just in case! Thanks!

    cavitation is kind of like spinning the tires on a car.

    The engine is reving, prop is spinning, but you aren't going anywhere.

    whats the cause? Not hard enough prop for the hp you have?

    lots of causes...bad pump seal, wrong prop, bad wear ring..list goes on and on...do a searcha dn there wasa great write up about exactly what cativation is!

    I read it but I just didnt know what exactly it would feel like...So read that post and then you exactly what cativating is, and from me asking now you know what it feels like!
