    Messed up threads on prop

    Anybody know what size threads are on the skat 15/20 props???

    I bought a used 15/20 some time ago and am finally putting it in but only problem is the threads are crossed Just woundering if anybody knows how or what size thread i need to chase them with so i can run this prop..

    So its not 18mm hhhmmm I will find out today cause I have to go to the nuts and bolts store. The one I went to yesterday had 20mm bolts and the 18's looked a little big IMO but I will take my pump there and see for sure what size ther are

    Thanks Tommy..I looked all over the area and could not find Chit...I spent one hour in the local hardware store trying to get something but couldnt come up with anything..Went to ACE,Homo depot,Retard Menards,Local hardware store,Pep boys, Auto junk,NOTHING ..But anyway the 18mm tap went in only a 1/4 way and stopped..wasnt gonna force it...

    Thats the tap we tried and it only went in about a 1/4 way...But maybe she needed some oil???ill go get it and try it..its only 10 bucks...

    The prop is harded ss its not going to be easy

    you need special king of cobalt bit to cut stainless. You may not even be able to do it. I would talk to impros, see if they can help.

    Are you sure it was the same pitch 1.5.
    You can use engine oil to tap or chase the threads.

    No im not sure thats why i was asking..Cant seem to find the right threads
