how hard is it to install the sonic booms ross?

That depends on your mechanical ability Yami... Pipe has to come out to get throttle bodies off.. If you are an inexperienced mechanic then it may be best to have someone install them for you. You have to answer that question for yourself based on your abilities.

Do you ride in the ocean or rough water ?
How dry and clean is your hull ?
The racefilter + prefilter(water sock) with a modded airbox(removed metal screens). seems to be a pretty good performer and is rather safe, prevents nastly things going into the engine.
As ross said the ultimate is his throttle bodies, however they provide no protection/filtering of the air intake. I havnt heard of anyone thats had a problem, most guys seem to make up a spash guard for them.
Youll need to weigh up your options.
