Novi is great for overall use, incredible accelleration and very easy to tune. I had a set of 48s on my 1200 with great results and now there are on my ported 1300.

Full Spectrum might even be a little better. Some of the race teams were using them even tho they were sponsered by Novi.

Annular discharge carbs like BlackJack or Redtops have great topend but will never come out of the gate like a booster carb. We did experiment with third circuits but could never get that explosive snap of the Novis.

    My .02 anyways.

Guys just remember Tim is at Novi tech now, his own company. Just make sure your getting the carbs from Tim! Thats where the great customer service is. It was such a pleasure to deal with Tim when I purchased my set 3 years ago.

Lots of people running great mph with stock carbs... Novi's are really expensive!

David is right, stock carbs are hard to beat if mph is all you are really after.
