    jetwork valves

Have a 1998 pro785, was wondering what are the jetwork valves. Where are they located and how do you check them.

They prevent water flow to the water box at idle RPM. This allows for a quicker holeshot by reducing the amount of water needed to be expelled for full exhaust flow. It sits in the stinger line of the exhaust system. Usually you just need the unscrew the halves and make sure the check ball is not stuck. If it is, you won't get any cooling water to the exhaust and can overheat the exhaust hose.
