    260hp Mercury V-6 / XL 1200 3 Seater

I started this project 4 years ago when i was going to take the 260 merc power head off my allision rr speed boat and put in my GPR. I got as far as buying everything to do the transplant and then got cold feet. My ally used to run 117mph @ 8400rpm. This past winter i sold my ally hull so now it was time to make it happen.

So far i have over 80hrs of maching and fab time in the pics below. I'm hoping to see speeds of 90+mph. I will be trying diffrent 2 pumps. One is a 05 hi output yami pump with a vx 110 impeller. The other pump will be a seadoo rxp pump that i will modified to fit the xl 1200.

The engine plate is just about done and now i'm working on the intake, I should have it finshed this week. I hope to have the ski up and running in about 4-6 weeks.

LOL it certainly helps.. lots of precision custom parts needing to be made.

is this what your using to turn pumpshaft? 260 hp through that belt?
Do you happen to have partnumber for belt and pulleys or know the application?

Awesome looking project cant wait to see it on the water
