    My impressions:
    • Extremely simple concept.
    • Integrates better than ANY design to date.
    • Use stock components and provides a failsafe as well.
    • Locks the valves with ZERO delta.
    • Only one SST setscrew per coupler...and it's big!
    • Simple to install, and replace when doing maint.
I'll throw up some pictures and install instructions.

The revision 2 couplers do use the oem plastic pcs, but they lock them down tight...as Mark said simple but effective, there should be no wear issues with these couplers. Mark, Thank you for picking them up...I owe ya big time for this one.

VERY simple concept. Test boat has over FOUR HUNDRED hours on the original set. No coupler failures. Pictures are in the folder below. I took some pics and some notes. I'm no expert, but Ted was able to explain it, in about ten minutes. It's that simple.

Would fabricating the plastic composite coupler out of aluminum improve on this design?

I thought, and have seen, the wear and consequent sloppiness of the powervalve connecting was on the plastic coupler itself. How does this "rev 2" mod really help that, and wouldn't you have to start with new couplers anyway? I vote metal couplers.

The plastic oem tangs are not a wear issue, they just allow a ton of slop..The new rev 2 coupler locks them down. No wear at all. The rev 1 couplers will wear over time..these will not....Dont let the simplicity fool you guys.
