Modding the steering on 04 rxp

After riding the X this past weekend i definitely need a new steeing setup on the rxp. Is the setup here in the store the best one to go with? I noticed that the setups have start/stop trim but how do you use your mode button or do you not. you need to mode buttom to function thru the speed, rpm, etc, or do you leave it on rpm. just trying to get all my ducks in a row before purchasing.
Thanks in advance to any comments.

Yes i would go with the one in the store..The UMI is the way to go for aftermarket steering..You might have to mod a switch to accomidate the mode button..UMI makes a switchcover but you can only get the start/stop switch and vts switch on there..

kp04rxp you weren,t suppose to notice. If she only new.
I will say that I never intended to drop anywhere near what has transpired, in no way.
I got my foot caught in the set back pump door with Jerry and felt it was best to stand up. Plus I see that as being one of the better + mods to come to the table. In regards to the ecu, I am still up in the air on if i will ever even do the upgrade. But being a 04 owner i did not want to get caught with my pants down. I figured if i change my mind, then i can sell it to a forum member in need of one.
I am ready to quit spending and just start riding. In relation to the umi, i never would have noticed or wanted it on the rxp until i road the X. It has ruined the feeling of the steering on the rxp. Ride one and you will not what i mean.

If you got the cash go with the UMI. I got lucky and scored a brand new set up from a forum member for a steal. Before i bit on it i read up on what other people thought about it and it had nothing but incredible reviews so i bit on it. Maybe ill finaly get it on this spring

Boy, ain't that the truth. After riding the X, my son said he never wants to ride my other RXP's anymore because they don't turn.

    Unfortunatly that is correct.
I have not even rode the rxp, and just sitting on it it feels like your hands are at your knees.

Just upgrade with the X-stuff when it becomes available.
