    Weak pulse?

Umkay, so I have what I would assume to be a weak pulse from my pulse line. We have tried two different carbs/fuel pumps and just can't get fuel to flow. Engine has great compression (180), brand new lines (clampped down). What could be causing this. What is the PSI for pulse lines supposed to be?

This is on Thesepaperwings's JS440, yes I know, it's not a Polari, but you guys are the best.

Might just have to do a leakdown test. Damn it, I was hoping for something easy. No reeds, this is before they even made them.

Sad thing is, this is a new engine. Was supposedly removed from a running ski. Stupid E-Hell

Take the line off the fuel pump (from the crankcase) and see if you have suction/pulsation during cranking.
You sure you have the pulse line on the pulse nipple at the carb/fuel pump?
Are you sure you have the fuel supply and return lines to their correct location?

I just remembered I had one that didn't work and I had to reshape or grind a little bit of the white plastic so it sit in the carb chassis a little better.
It's the white plastic inbetween the pump/diaghram/carb housing.
