you should be getting a lot more out of that setup speed and rpm wise. I would think about a 3 degree keyway or advent ignition. The ignition will make it come alive and give you 100 rpms +
The jetting seems like it is too much for a single pipe, but don't quote me as I don't know much about Novi carbs.
Get that Island plate and your pump shoe setup right and you will see some much better numbers. If you can get Duke or someone else with experience on hull setup I think you have 5mph right there
    welcome and keep us posted

    Lightbulb ?

    Hey there Mike..

there's something major wrong with your setup..

Your ski should be seeing more like 80mph+ with the set up you have..!!!

I didn't see a D-Plate in the list of mods..??
Are you still running the catcon..??

Also no mention of an intake grate..(the stock one is BAD..!!!)

Are you using the 1200 exhaust system..??

An Advent would be a good investment for you..!!

You really need to get underneath your ski and take some measurements.. or pictures to post up..!!

What are you using to record you rpm's..???

You really Need to get that modded plate on there too..

i could be wrong but im pretty sure its 32 to 1. but ive heard of 50 to 1. i run 32 to 1. it seems safer to me. i agree something isnt right. my 1200r with mods listed in my sig will beat that thing on top end. that shouldnt be.

Be more then happy to take a look Mike. Kinda slammed this week but can find time next week or Sunday if U can ride with us.

Jetting sound fat and rpms are way off. You have the potential just need to get the details worked out. I'm sure there is some speed in the hull too.

    Lightbulb ???

    Hey Mike..

That's more good news on the parts you have or are using..
    Re:, Grate, D-Plate, Pet tach..

As for your oil ratio.. You're a little light @ 3ounce to a gallon..???

I'm not up to speed on all that fluid ounce's ancient shite..!!

But a quick look at a conversion program shows a US gallon to be 128 fluid ounces..

So that makes for four times 32fluid ounces so for a 32:1 ratio you need 4 ounce of 2 stroke oil per gallon..

I can see how easy it'd be, to come up with 3 ounces per gallon through
    As in: 1:128 ratio = 1 ounce,. so 2 ounce for 64:1 and 3 ounce for 32:1

As for shimming the ride plate.. its more a case of grinding the shit outta your pump nozzle and pump..
Till the plate fits firmly up against the hull with a bit of clearance...
This involves a LOT of grinding...(there's lots of posts on this)
    Here's a good example:.http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...late+clearance

You can see just how much must be ground off to get the plate to fit correctly..

OK mike its time to hit the search button...
