    Another project!

Darn this forum! I have been here less then 2 weeks and I have gone off the deep end. I have gone from NO skis to 3 in 2 weeks!

Ski 1: $400 1993 sl750 no spark. Tracked it down to a bad coil.
Ski 2: $350 1991 Seadoo 587 GTS with single place trailer. Runs good, PO had it dealer serviced every year!
Ski 3: $600 1996 hurricane with single place trailer and 1 year old cover. No spark. PO told me fresh top end with +.5mm wiseco pistons 3 hours run time before no spark condition.

I'll take a look and see if the cane has the updated ignition system later tonight, but for now I know you guys love pics!

Sounds like you'll be shopping for an update kit for the cane and a 94 or new jet pump for the 750. Welcome to the addiction.

What happened/changed in 1994 to the jet pump?

Mid march is when the snow starts to melt away here in Minnesota. It was nearly 50 degrees in that picture . Lake ice out is usually the second week in April and the lake just starts to freeze over the week after Thanksgiving.

Pic 1 is what my back yard looks like in May. Pic 2 is what happens when I venture out onto the ice to early in the winter.

Picture 2 looks like my last snowmobile ride home thru the swamp. In 94 the pump style changed to what Polaris called the big mouth pump, like on the Hurricane. The 93 pump is garbage compared to the newer style. In 95 they introduced a 4 inch extension on the 95 SLX and that is what most performance models used after that.
