    Carb Problems?

Hey guy's I've been pondering some performance issues on my ski. First the thing is a little hard to start it won't start unless I pump the throttle a few times before turning it over essentially priming it. I've tried the choke at a few different levels and still not easy to start. It's even harder when it's in the water! After it's warm though it starts easy no choke and usually no prime. Also it hesitates a little when I really lay into it then it goes? I really need to go through the carbs and replace the diaphrams and give them a good cleaning whose the guy at Watcon I'll give him a call for sure! Does it sound like a rebuild is needed or should I do something different let me know Thanks guys!

    SLX 1050.

Seeing how fuel issues are the number one cause of engine failures; in my opinion, carbs should be checked/cleaned/rebuilt if needed annually.

    Just my 2 cents.

Yeah I figured a carb rebuild would be best. How can I get in contact with Randy and where is he (east, west coast?) so i dont call him at 2 am . Also should i go with different jets as I am @ 4800 ft above sea level. And should I replace the accelerator pump as well? Any thing i should be shure to do/change when I rebuild, Thanks Guys!

Randy is on the west coast. His number can be found in the sticky in the general section.
