    What electronics?

That thingy up front mounted....can't remember what it's called....2"x3"...black....cooling ribs into the air duct?

After installing the rea intake I replaced this section of the oem back into place...to take up slack on the gas tanks bungies...I have no cool air running over that thing....no probs either. At first I zip tied it to the side of my 4" front....no cool air on it...no probs.

No, it just gets relocated to somehwere to stay cool, thats all....its in the air intake to allow for air to pass over it and cool it...

No, just put it on a piece of aluminum and screw it down anywhere. I mounted mine to the hull just in front and right of the fuel tank when the tank and engine cavity begins. The hull is double walled there.
    Oops, Danny beat me!!

Thanks guys Larry i like your intake and am gonna be building one very simalar to yours just using powder coated exhaust pipe. so that the yellow and black theme stays on the inside as well. just did the free flow exhaust today and looking at doing the intake tomorrow, i did a 4'' exhaust out of pipe today from the waterbox to the outlet with using downsizing couplers. sounds awesome out of the water might try and get some times tomorrow if the weather holds out.

p.s. i for got to ask if i could just zip tie it onto the intake pipe?

i used some self tapping stainless hex head screws.
tapped them right into the side of the big plastic tub up under the handlebars. you know the one with the hose thingys stickin out the top...
