Intel Quad Cores
What is the difference between the Q6600 and the Q6700 besides the speed, and one is double the price of the other.

Not much difference at all besides price from what I can tell.
Check out the 6850 dual core. I just got it recently and it is amazing.

The quad core is a bust because there isn't hardly any software designed to take advantage of it. Don't waste the extra money on it.

Quad Core 6600
I have been running Q6600 for several months and love it.
Had a Dual Core prior, and feel like my video editing speed for compression is much better. Using Pinnacle for most of editing....

Dual Core for most things is spectacular. The new E8500 is a bad mofo.

This seem completely irrelavent, since REVIT is an Architecture product, and I know nothing about it. I believe I said Inventor, anyhow I design WWTP and the CAD group lays them out, using Inventor, not autocad.
