    ...insurance...????

So, i got this 08 RXP-X. my driving record is horrible. plans are to take it out in 2 weeks, so i decided to go ahead and put some insurance on it. NO LUCK. i have an insurance agency that always looks for the best deals and what not and they searched for 3 days now. no one wants to insure this 255 hp monster of mine? they said it was for 2 reasons - 1. driving record. 2. the amount of hp or the speed it goes. does anyone have any suggestions on this?

my g/f said she would try to put it in her name...can you do that?

Have you talked to Progressive...they were the only one in Florida I could find to insure mine.

Try making her a co-owner. That way both you and she would be insured. That's how we did it when I was insuring my RXP when I was 17 because they wouldn't do a standalone policy with anyone under 18. So hopefully if her record is good that should balance out yours a little and you should be able to insure, probably at an absurd rate, but insured nonetheless.
