    Should I take $2k and start over

    If I could sell my 98 GP1200 for $2000 the way it is siezed motor, broken rod, and cases and all should I just do it and start over with another ski?

    Well I was thinking it would probably be a wash on the price, I would probably have to add another $1500 to the $2k in order to get a decent used ski and then I wouldnt know what I would end up with Where if I rebuilt this one Which would also cost around $1500 then I would know what I had. Hmmmmm but then I could always add a little more and upgrade to an R. decisions decisions

    Well that is what I was thinking also. Thanks for the input. Just wanted to see if someone came up with something I was missing.

    the other thing you could do is sell your ski and use the money to buy a RXP-X then get the balance on credit . you will then get a guarantee off the manufacturers.

    I have always bought my skis brand new , I would not like to buy a second hand ski, because /I will never know what the ski has been put thru!!!!!!!!!!!!

    if you have been offered $2000 for your 98 with bum motor take it.

    ah hell talked to the guy today. Its a no go now he said he has had to many lawyer fees lately. Go figure. Oh well I think I would rather build it myself anyway.

    To bad you should have said yes when he offered it up.
    Drive 560 miles and buy my 99 its nice dude I need to build a GPR.

    Then fix the 98 over the summer.
