live in oz have a blue 250x great ski took it out yesterday started coughing and engine was not givin out hadly any power or responding also makin vibrating sound.
thought that it would be the spark plugs due to the fact that the ski had 33 hours without change so i call ed my locale kawi dealer he said bring it down and we will take a look. As a suspected spark plugs blackened with a slight orange colour ????
So changed the plugs brand new 200 dollar later.
next day got the ski out on the water flat river perfect conditions and what do you know the ski started doin it all over again. by this time i was pullin my hair out got the ski out of the water and checked the plugs to my releif all fine rang kawi dealer they said bring it in could be problem with the computer.

You shouldnt have paid a dime for the plugs or the install. They are a recall item from Kawasaki.

somebody else had a similar problem. he was not reaching top speed and there was irregular idle rpm's. the culperet was a small drain plug on the bottom of the intake manifold, he went to pull the plug to drail any oil, water that has collected and he fould that the plug was gone. since the plug was missing the ski only made 8psi of boost and maxed out at 7600 rpms. mabey an idea to check.
