Is this normal???? Plug not connected....?

After I took the ski to the mechanic to get the s/c wheel in I noticed this plug was not connected. Took it back to him and he said it was "probably" the same wire harness used for the GTX s/c and it did not have to be pluged on the RXT. Sounded kinda weird though. Is this true?

    no..

that's the plug that u connect to the BUDS diagnostic software at the dealer,,, on the metal bracket there, there's a "holder" that the plug clips into so it don't flop around

was this a SEADOO dealer?!?! and he didn't know that plug was to connect ur ski to the BUDS system

I think it`s time for some of us to get together and open our own 4-tec shop, because we are all seeing that who better has experience with these ski`s, it`s looking more and more like us!...the users...PR...

Yeah I kinda thought he was talking bs. Not a sea doo dealer. I guess it's the last time I visit that place. It's so hard to get a good mechanic around here though. There are plenty of sjops that work on boats but few deal with pwc. The other mechanic that did my first prop swap did not even know that it screws in the other way around instead of righty tighty lefty loosey I had to tell the guy!

Then there's PPG about 50mins away from me but I know they are pro's...right?

Anyone know of other good ones in Miami?

Off topic, Geo, did you received your tweaked 14/17R prop back from Jerry??
